Cats Are Funny

October 22nd, 2005

I love cats, and yet there’s nothing better than a vastly humiliated (but unharmed) cat. Why is that?

Also, this picture [though of ancient internet provenance] was recently discovered at the following address:

http://www.navysecurity.navy.mil/st051704.htm

Yes, that’s dot MIL! The US military! Could this be some sort of telepathic counter-terrorist cat?

Discuss.

Oh, yeah, And Pretties comes out in, like, a week.

Nope. Clearly Navy Security is either looking to make Twiggy plush toys or genetically re-engineer it into a kzin.

“SECNAVINST 5510.30A, CH 4, Para 4 – Once a year, all personnel who have access to classified information will receive a refresher briefing designed to enhance security awareness.”

Obviously, being limecat is the only way to gain access to such classified info. “refresher briefing”… that conjures up an image of navy officers sitting around drinking iced tea. with lime.

if you change the last number in st051704 (in the url), you get other pages… yeah i was bored.

Cool. Too bad the other pix are clearly not as highly classified as limecat.

Corn: There are some who believe that the fruit on limecat’s head is a pomelo.

And yes, I really should put up a post about Pretties.
