NYPL Event

News flash: I’m doing yet another New York City event for Extras. This one will be part of the Teen Author Reading Night series. It’s me and five other authors, each reading for about five minutes, with the amazing David Levithan wrangling (i.e., making sure we don’t go over time).

The other authors are:

Alaya Johnson, Racing the Dark
Kristen Kemp, Breakfast at Bloomingdale’s
Louise Plummer, Finding Daddy
Abby Sher, Kissing Snowflakes
Jake Wizner, Spanking Shakespeare

Wednesday, November 7
6PM-7:30PM
Tompkins Square Library
331 E. 10th Street (off Ave B)

Perhaps now is the time to remind you of my other two upcoming events:

203-255-7394
Books will be sold there by the local Borders.

  1. It’s a shame. I’ll be speaking at Donnell Branch on the 6th. Wish there was a way to link the two events! Would have been cool.

I’ll give you the heads up if zombies and/or unicorns show up at my event.

  2. Nearly all those books begin with a verb.
    Racing
    Finding
    Kissing
    Spanking..

i guess that’s the way to go. finding cassie crazy. saving francesca. finding alibrandi. more..

  3. i’m here now…..*not* in school. but i gotta go to an assembly really soon. and catch up on like eighty poems

  4. and now i’m back. and i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaally need to write some poems. so i’ll stop being lazy and trolling intermonets.

  5. God, I wish I didn’t live in Oregon, so far away. I love you and David… both of you in one place would make my life somewhat more complete.

  6. Scott,

The UGLIES Series is terrific! I’m starting EXTRAS now, and I’m sure it is just as good as the other books in the series.

Just wondering, would you ever consider coming to Canada for your future Tours?
