Yes, you read that right, and I’m typing it again, because it’s that much fun:

Manga. Head. Explosive. Goo.

It’s a brand of hair gel made by Garnier, to create those delicious mohawk-tastic heads of hair just like your fave manga characters. Don’t believe me? Here’s the website.

  1. When I finish An Abundance of Katherines tonight, I plan to start reading Paper Towns. I should be able to finish it by Thursday if I keep at the same pace I have been reading.

  2. I recently got Paper Towns from the library, but I couldn’t get into it. It’s just not my kind of book. 😛

  4. Well, Tally&David, on a scale I would definitely rate it about 8 or 9. On a scale of 10 being Looking for Alaska and 1 being… not Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines would be an 8 max.

    Dahlia-wa: I think I have the same problem, though I plan to finish the book, I am having a hard time getting in to it. So far I have read part 1 and plan to begin with part 2 tomorrow.

  6. I’m in a crisis, ya’ll. I have no book to read! Well, I got Undone a few weeks ago, but it’s just not doing anything to me. When a week has gone by and I’m not even halfway done, you know that book isn’t very good. *Sigh* well, I guess I either try to finish it or give up and return it to the library. I gave my friend, also Tally, Marked. I hope she’s started reading it. The House of Night series is the best series I’ve ever read. And I’ve read Twilight and Harry Potter and loved them. So that is definatly saying something.

  8. alex-wa: the mysterious benedict soceity was amazing if you want to read that- the cover looks a little childish, but it really is an amazing book. like, I was sad when it ended 😛 or….. the house of the scorpion was really great too. I didn’t think it would be, but it really was. at the begining there was a list of characters, and there was about 40 of them, but it was auctually really easy to keep up. if you liked twilight then maybe the host? same author. my friends really loved wicked lovely, but not so much for me 😛 have you read love is hell? I loved it so much! some of them were.. odd to say the least, but they were still good. (and one of them is twilight with purple eyes and insane asylums :P) oh and I just finished fablehaven, and that was ok… it was a while before a real plot came in… like, you’d think a plot was coming, and…. nothing 😛 it was still good, though

    Drew-la: i actually read more then half of the book by time i decided to just skip to the end. i dont remember y, but i was getting bored w/it and knew i would never finish it, so i just skipped 2 the end and returned it to the library once i found out what happened.

  14. Tally&david, I love the Vampire Diaries, too! Except I think it was way better than Uglies. Not that I don’t love Uglies, too!! I think Uglies is awsome, too! It’s only a little better than Uglies. And the House of Night series is the best series in the world, with Harry Potter. Twilight is below that, with Maximum Ride, Uglies, Skinned, and The Midnighters below that. Hm… something like that… The trailer was set back a little in my opinion. It’ll come out in 2 weeks, hopefully. Hopefully next week! Sorry ’bout that guys. Savanna’s parents are just real protective of her, and she refuses to argue with them! On the other hand, Anthony’s parents never even say when to come back home when he’s over. So if you just have to blame someone, blame Savanna’s parents. But really, it doesn’t matter much anyways. We still are this close to finishing it!

  15. Hehe, I remember when I first discovered Uglies back in 7th grade… I thought the book was soo huge! Haha, now I think it’s rather on the average, or smallish side. Really, when you read Harry Potter and the Order of the Peonix, all other books seem small. Once one kid thought I was reading a dictionary! I was like “No way! It’s Harry Potter! *shows cover*” That was funny! Now I’m a Freshman and goin on 15 in July… Lol

  21. I love the House of Night series, and The Vampire Diaries but neither are better than any of Scott’s books. Still awesome though. The only books that can compare to Scott’s are JK Rowling’s. And they’re still tied. Can you say EPIC AMAZINGNESS ON ICE? Hecks yeah….

  33. Peeps cover is creepy although i do like it better my I have a few fears and one is dolls for some reason and the other is too embarassing to say.

    Anyway off the subject:
    You know my town’s library is poorly supplied which means i had to buy all the books with my own money im a 13 year old who is in love with books and has to buy them all her own until it averages to about 70$ in othe ri am just saying your books aren’t cheap.

    It pays off in the end i’ve payed more for a book anyway even if my mom thinks im crazy
