Title: *A wild newbie appears!*
Post by: Mikeyisroc on December 20, 2012, 03:49:42 PM
Hi guys, I'm mikeyisroc, a New Hampshire, USA 15 year old who loves skiing and the leviathan series! Seriously, I read it back in 2009 when I was in 5th grade. Or the first book, at least. I also love video games and The Elder Scrolls series. Where should I start on the forum? I would like to get involved with RP.

Haha, well I've been on for more than two years now... and for the most part we Westerforumers have no real lives ;) .... don't worry, you'll have plenty of posts before you know it, they go by way faster than you think.

Well hi! I'm Liz. And you should join the bloodbath thread in the Levi section. We do crazy things. But also what Fanna said, The person below me, is a lot of fun too. Hope you stay though :)

I have oblivion. But I haven't finished the storyline yet. I plan to continue to morrowind, Daggerfall, then arena. I want the full elder scrolls experience!

I have nothing but good feelings for them. They just need a system that lets the games be even BIGGER.
Someone get on that. An Elder Scrolls-only video game consoul.

Brilliant, yet they would make little profit.

I partially agree. I think it would be good for consoles that already exist to upgrade their hardware to play the games perfectly.

Elder scrolls: look it up. Awesome video game series.
That explains that... my video game knowledge fails....

Post by: Straif on December 21, 2012, 09:54:49 AM
It would be easier just to make a fully new one. Probably more cost effective too. And of course, the only people who would buy it would be those who want to play the game...niche market?
Title: Re: *A wild newbie appears!*
Post by: Mikeyisroc on December 21, 2012, 09:55:56 AM
But I would think they would adapt other games like Fallout onto it.

Meh. I wouldn't like a console, though. I find playing on the PC makes it easier to get into and more realistic, like you're in the game.

Elder scrolls: look it up. Awesome video game series.
That explains that... my video game knowledge fails....

YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE, ECHOPS! BEGONE, FOUL BEAST!

Well OBVIOUSLY. Any open-world RPG would do well on it. Fallout, Elder Scrolls...hell, they might even port World of Warcraft over.

But you can't be five inches from the screen when playing on a console, though!

WoW? No way. Not meant for consoles.

Watch me play Halo 4 then.

And THAT is what scooting forward on a foot stool is for.

Gentlemen gentlemen, let us not argue over stools!

Oh, and is it a good idea to join an RP that is 100 pages in?

I am a lady gentleman, and I enjoy arguing over stools!

I do not own a foot stool.

Meh, depends on the RP. If it has a general storyline, no. But if it's wandering about wildly, then yes. Which one?

Mikey (I JUST realised your nickname makes you an ODST) yes, it is, if you can find a good way in.
Oh, the Infected Distopia one? You get your ass in there now!

And you must get one then.

From Halo. Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. Badest badasses there are. They ride into combat inside drop pods from orbit.

And do so.
