Title: Where does Scott get these ideas???

 ??? i really like writing and want to follow in Scott Westerfield's footsteps. Where did he get the idea of an operation that turns the future humans into beautiful, strong, gods!!! Where did he come up with "Special Circumstances?!?" he must be really creative, his next book should be an autobiography!!!
i really want to learn more about him... (not in a stalker kind of way)  :D
