Title: Cosplay Research
Post by: Lilit on December 08, 2014, 03:14:57 AM
All the cosplay threads the search bar has led me to appear to be dead, so this newbie is starting a new one.

Does anyone have good resources/reference/research for Leviathan-themed cosplays? My buddies and I are planning to go as Deryn, Dr. Barlow, and Lilit to Phillycon. We're working on finding materials so we can get started soon, but googlw-who-is-our-friend is not being helpful when it comes to helping us.

If any of y'all have suggestions for places to look, cosplay advice, pictures, et cetera, we'd really appreciate it!
 :D

Well, as far as cosplay materials and such I really don't know, but as far as reference for making the costumes, you could look at the Manual of Aeronautics or at the illustrations in the books or the illustrator's website.

I actually ordered tMoA last friday! Thanks for the suggestion to check out Thompson's website, I'm looking through his gallery now.

Thank Julia for the website idea, she posted it on another thread when you mentioned Lilit cosplay. I just sort of transferred it to this thread :P

I suggest talking to Straif next time he's on. He has done his fair share of Leviathan cosplay, he has a youtube channel that I forget the name of where he shows his stuff.
