Title: I did NOT know this
Post by: Nina-Chan on January 16, 2010, 02:54:18 AM
I am in my school library and I was looking at one of the racks when a book catches my eye. I picked it up and it turned out to be the sequel to peeps! Really? I never knew he wrote a sequal.

The old characters are in part of it, though.

I seem to find that if you see a character that has been your narrator for a while from someone else's perspective, they seem quite different. It makes sense, though. It's quite hard to know what you seem like to other people.

I hate it when in books the alternating characters think the same things, and usually see each other in the same way that the other sees themself. *cough* Witch and WIzard *cough*

Arg must we even mention that book??? Sigh.

The best part was when they referenced Maximum Ride. Practically the only good part. That is really sad...

I think bklvr was saying that it's annoying when you get multiple perspectives of characters, but seeing a character outside of their own head doesn't reveal anything new about them. Because people usually act and come off at least slightly differently then they think they do.

yea there is a sequel but the sad part is that if you have read the first one it has nothing to do with the main characters in it, it is a(n) entirly different story line

I love Last Days great read, same basic story, but different characters.  And the old characters make an appearance. Check out Party by Tom Leeven if you like multiple POVs.
