The closer they got to the party the more jittery Ronan got. Truthfully he had been having a hard time staying positive after the lesions were removed. Feeling anything other than that familiar sense of dumb elation was jarring, so he was excited to finally be able to feel something positive for an actual reason. They approached the source of the fireworks, a building surrounded by colourful flashing lights, and equally colourful people. "Ready to make some friends?" He asked the others.

What I meant by that is I'm not going to buy like a $500 name brand whatever and say pair it with my thing because that $500 thing is better something you could get for 5 Mara XD
Does that make sense? I'm talking about in terms of other products not my own.
I'm not going to say  I got this bracelet from Walmart it's better than mine.

What I meant by avoiding brand loyalty is I'm not going to mention what the brands of the clothes I have with whatever piece of jewelry because that would pull Focus From the actual items I want focus on, and I'm not advertising for a clothing company.

With clothes. Even if it isn’t super trendy, a lot of people don’t necessarily know how to pair jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc, so giving inspiration would be a cool idea, and doing it with your own clothes makes it that much more achievable. That’s my vote, from a media advertising perspective XD
Thanks. I'm not that heavily interested in fashion so I was a little bit concerned about doing that. I mean I like making jewelry but the whole hair makeup Etc stuff I either find too complicated or too time consuming.

That, and I never understood the concept of brand loyalty / buying higher end stuff that is expensive even though it is exactly the same as what you would find in the cheaper store like Target or second hand shop.

Yeah, but you do want to build brand loyalty for yourself, and one of the better ways to do that is to up the social media and make it look like you’re expanding even if you’re not. The more reputable you look, the more people are interested in buying from you, because it looks super established. I agree, I don’t understand buying an expensive product when you can get a dupe for much cheaper, but for building this more, you’ll need to play into the brand loyalty concept

"At least it means that I'm ME, not what someone thinks I should be." Jackie grinned, her voice full of exuberance.

Penny shook her head. “It has to be right? Otherwise why would anyone willingly choose this?” She smiles at Ronan. “We’ve got to keep a good attitude and if we really hate it then we’ll find a way to get what we want, right?” She stared at the fireworks in wonderment. “As long as they’ve still got fireworks, I think I’ll like it.”

"Is freedom really that great?" Amaya questioned; she was starting to feel a little more comfortable. She looked around at the people walking around, wondering if this freedom made things better or if they would all fall back into the ways of the Rusties and destroy the world again.

"Of course it'll make sense. Who wouldn't choose freedom?" Ronan said as he bounded out the door and down the hall. Aside from their floor the building was mostly empty, bar a few security personnel and support staff. They paid the group no mind as they strolled past and out the front door. "There! Looks like the fireworks were coming from a few blocks that way."

Penny shrugged noncommittally. “I’d like to see why they chose this life at least. Maybe it’ll all make sense?”
