Something with Volger and Barlow! I love them!

Or Alek crashing a sled...

I like Alek and Deryn minus power. Have him be freaking and she just shakes all these worm lamps and is like "well this is barking romantic, aye?"

Alek and Deryn attend high school, but don't remember the Leviathan stuff. With uniforms that conform to the slice-of-life norm. Oh, and their both Magicals girls who fight Darwinist beats and Clanker machines respectively and are forced to work together and fall in love after Barlow and Volger remind them of who they really are. Set while they're in Japan in the books.

That idea came way too easily...

I like to think that while Deryn and Alek were in Istanbul, Barlow and the Count's love life picked up. Maybe you could write about that?

I'm currently working on a fanfic. It's about Lilit attempting to have awkward "girl talk" with Deryn
