Flapperly Deryn
« on: December 23, 2012, 02:30:39 PM »

I got a book about 20's fashion for my birthday, and in the introduction, it says, "We tend to let the boyish image of the flapper dominate our conception of the twenties. With her bobbed hair, ...and flattened chest..." WHICH TOTALLY SOUNDS LIKE DERYN!!!

Didn't Deryn wear a flapper dress in the bonus chapter of Goliath?

Might have been...something tells me she'd like the 20s.

I'm currently reading a book set on the 20's. Back than boyish was really in.

Whenever I listen to the Charleston, I imagine Alek and Deryn dancing up a storm. ;D

Oh dear lord, whenever I listen to rushed 50's music I am just seeing Alek and Deryn, well, just any music now I see them dancing and I can't get it to stop!
