Notice them all the time... It kinda pisses me off when someone is paid to proof read a book and they do it so badly. What's even worse is when they bring out a new print version of a book and it has new ones in (Harry Potter was TERRIBLE for this). Imo all it would take is a reading group of 20 kids (i say kids because they would do it for free) and that book would be so bloody perfect the Queen could use it as toilet paper!!

This forum is always making me rant lol ::)

But all in all... Nice one Kim-la ;)

well there's always going to be something that slips through the cracks we can't just go around fireing people every time they make a mistake esspecialy if these people have to profread like ten books a day. I do agree that there are some glaring problems in certain books that probably should have been picked up somewhere along the publishing prosess but sometimes you're so close to something you can't see. Minor errors like the ones mentioned here shouldn't cost someone there job, they should just be a fun little thing for fans to look out for and rant about ;)

I thought that's what I was doing lol =P ^_^

I've read the first 3 books in the past 3 days and have found tons of mistakes! But usually my brain corrects them automatically and I dont notice them except for when I reread something for extra clarity.
