Light by Michael Grant (spoilers)
« on: May 05, 2013, 09:36:24 PM »

Light was awesome! I really don't think it was my favorite of the Gone series, but it was still awesome. My only problem was the ending.... yes it was exciting and epic, but I feel like it left a bunch of questions hanging.

And omigosh, for Caine being a villain I cried so hard at his death.  :'( As if I didn't feel bad for Diana as it was.

Also there are like a billion other things I've been spazing out about, so for those of you that read Light, gush away.

Good I really needed this! :p

CAINE! Ahhhhhhh! *sobs*

I felt like there were some holes too but that just made me think of lost so I liked it :p

I wish he'd rememebered to tell us what happened to toto and what was up with all those scientists and Mary....that wasn't cleared up

When Brianna died I was shaking and shouting and gasping for breath. I cannot believe he killed her off! :( and Orc! Ah! At least Sammy made it

Caine was seriously one of the most likeable villains ever.

And yeah he did leave some plotholes... Like what happened to Andrew, the kid they filmed leaving the Fayz? What about the research facility? Who took care of the little kids after Mary left? And how the heck did Roger live, like seriously he fell unconscious into a lake after being nearly burned to death, I don't think you easily survive something like that.

But hey, I was glad Roger lived.  However, I wish Michael Grant had given us the backstory between his and Edilio's love life.

Oh I forgot about Brianna!  I was so sad when she died.  Even Computer Jack made me cry.

Jack :( that made me sad because he didn't want to fight to begin with!

I knew Roger was going to be fine :P that was just way too obvious ahhaha

Yeah seriously! But I guess he needed to die so Gaia could lose her super strength.

And I can't remember, but did it say anything about what happened to Taylor?

D:

Okay, so I don‘t think I want to read this book anymore. Because Caine CANNOT die. So, I‘ll just continue living in my fantasy world that he‘s alive and happy and you two are dirty dirty liars. >:I

OKAY GUYS. I FINALLY FINISHED IT. And eeeeeee it was so sad! Like, how the kids basically had PSTD after, and were crying in grocery stores and at the sight of a trashcan with leftover food in it and ermahgerd.
