Home-cooked food
« on: October 24, 2013, 06:38:51 AM »

I got bored and decided to make a random topic. What are your favourite home cooked meals? They can be made by you, or someone else, as long as they are delicious.

My favourites are quesadillas, pizza, chicken breaded and fried in a pan, not a fry daddy, and coconut pie.

A venison stew made with the cutest deer I could shoot and drag out of the woods behind a horse. That's the best stuff ever, especially when it's only me I'm cookin for and I can put all the stuff I like in with it. Squirrel stew is also a great dish if you do it right, gotta get the meat soft, it's pretty tough if you don't cook it right. And using across bow takes the hassle of finding the BB or bullet out of the little bugger.

Don't worry, pan. I quite often have plain pasta for lunch, and when I say plain, I mean PLAIN. I don't care for butter or parmesan, so I eat just noodles. Everyone else in my family thinks I'm weird.

Ooh, I love pumpkin bread, but have never tried zucchini bread. Is it that good?

I have never tried deer or squirrel, but I might be willing to try it. No one in my family hunts, though, so not much opportunity to try it.

I like eating wild game because i have to work for it, its not like just going to the store and buying your food without that much effort. when you hunt you gotta track, wait, kill, skin, clean, and cook.

Vegetarian here, just going to say that I don't enjoy fresh-caught game. :P That will be all.

I think so, yes. (I make mine chocolate, but I'm sure the non-chocolate version is delicious, too.) It's like eating cake.

The only reason why I don't like game is because the taste is just...blech. I tried elk my friend got when bow-hunting and I hated it. Just not a fan of game:P

You could make a robot to hold one and behave like an animal and then shoot the pepper and eat it! ::)
