i don't think there's  a problem with higher taxes for free healthcare, it keeps society fair, i can't see how its right for people who have less money to have substandard healthcare just because of finance issues, and everyone in the uk gets the benefits of the NHS be they poor or wealthy, which is good. but like i said, it enfuriates me when people abuse the system we have, the system that we're lucky to have. while i'm not happy about the new conservative government, they are at least promising to sort out benefit theives... but then there's all the other stuff that they're doing that isn't good

I have to admit I'm fuzzy on the differences between communism and socialism. >_>

socialism isn't quite as extreme, socialism is just the left wing and having the wealth distributed fairly, rather than communism which is extreme socialism where you can't own anything and everything is owned by the government, if you want anything you have to ask them for it. mild socialism still allows you to have your own money and your own possessions etc
