anyone who does cut, is there anything else that you really enjoy doing? I mean because i know the feelings that your taking about but instead of cutting I always run, which in a way is feeling something, the push to go farther and the fight against the clock. I mean have you ever tried something else?

Yeah, I agree. With pretty much everything. Yes, we're all here, yes it's bad to cut, yes, there ARE other methods. Try them. They may work for you. Nobody's life is ever rainbows and happiness all the time.

i agree, fleemerbuddy, it is in a weird way better to feel like you're not alone, i suppose, for me at least, it makes me feel like i'm less odd, because in my experience people find out that you cut yourself and automatically judge you as a freak

Yea don't get pressured into a stereotype, there's this girl at my school who cuts and I think it's mainly because everyone thinks she is emo or whatever so she wants to act like it, cause I'm from a whole other circle of friends and this girl and I get along and, to be honest, she doesn't even seem emo.

same, although i did have (and deeply regret) a weird emo phase, when i look at photos of myself then  :-[  and even then i still had friends and i was always very happy and had a lot of fun, it was about clothes and music not cutting, that's something that comes from how you feel, not how you dress and what your taste in music is. and even now, i'm not into the whole "emo" thing, i cut, and i'm one of those super-girly girls who you wouldn't expect it of, because i don't fit the stereotype

I don't cut, but I also don't have any escape from my horrible life. I'm gonna wear all black soon, and dye my hair black; my bangs cover half my face. I like rock music. I call myself "emo", but really it's not too fitting.

This is just my opinion but I think some people cut themselves because they can't cut what they really need to, the thing that makes them cut.  Ok that sounds really weird. what i mean is when people cut they are cutting themselves when they should the things making them cut should be what they are cutting out. sorry, no matter how I say it, it sounds weird. Anyone know what I mean?
