I had plenty of cool teachers just not cool enough to read Uglies. I had a social studies teacher who taught us by having us act out the history. It was great.

My histoy teacher is cool... And that's saying alot. She gets into trouble because she's so cool. She likes the songs soul sister. I just find that funny. She believes in talking about your problems. That's one of her flaws.

there have been worse ones. If you take the time and just read the entire food fight, starting at page...oh, forget it. No idea what page. Anyway, just read mustang mania starting at page 10.

YES. I'm obsessed with dystopian fiction (and some of its kin, like post-apocalyptic and cyberpunk).

Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, 1984, Feed, Unwind, Uglies.

Or, post apocalyptic: The Road.

You should check out some of the ones I list on the first post you would love them. Oh and for post-apocalyptic check The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan it zombie apocalyse, so good. ;D
