Thought having a new thread for the second book in the Zeros series would be better then talking about it in the Zeros thread. :P

Obligatory glitch post.

I haven't read Swarm yet but I'm looking forward to it

I started Swarm last night, I'm about 50-some pages in, it's okay.
Maybe it'll get better? I donno it might be just me feeling a disconnect between the characters because I'm older but I feel like in some scenes they tried too hard to make them teenager-y and it felt artificial, not like the behavior of actual people.

I'm about to start Swarm as I finally finished Zeroes! I hope we see more of Chizara and Nate since I feel like they were underused characters.

this is how I felt about a lot of the dialogue in Zeroes. It felt like the writers were trying to pull a Riordan with their use of colloquial speech and slang, but it didn't come off as natural as was probably intended.

It's not that but the fact that it got super angsty about a bunch of stuff. Even little things like hair dye that I stopped caring about the characters.

I'm putting the spoilers and small text: I got to the part where the antagonist couple was introduced and stopped after that.

*has barely even started Swarm*
*reads spoiler text anyway*
Well, I don't really think that counts as much of a spoiler. I'd ask why, but that would probably be a real spoiler. Maybe when I actually get to that part.

I read it when it originally came out so I guess it's been about a year?

THATS WHERE YOU'RE WRONG!

To say the least, they could have put more diversity in the actual concept of the powers.
Not just what they did to Anon and Bell
