Did they ever find our hunter? Peggy asked curiously. She knew Thomas had asked in one of his first letters with no answer, but was curious if it had changed at all

THomas smiled, listening to his brother talk about his life in the city; happy that Charles was living the life he'd always dreamed of. He eyed Charles curiously, awaiting some kind of news on the huntress.

Charles cleared his throat and looked away from them both. "I wrote the story, and last I heard the authorities were looking for her."

Thomas wasn't sure whether to be angry or worried that the huntress was still out there somewhere. After all that woman had done to Maggie, he couldn't help but hope that she met an unpleasant end. He eyed Maggie and shook his head, "You can't just go after her by yourself Maggs," Thomas told her firmly.

She huffed, her dormant anger at the woman and the fact shed gotten away rising up in her chest. I cant let that monster just roam around hurting other people! She complained. The cross shaped burns on her arms would never heal and she had plenty of veins that had seemingly permanently darkened from the holy water. Not to mention the mental trauma of it all - not that she ever spoke about it to Thomas. I have to.

"Maybe you ought to do a little research," Nico pointed out as he approached the group, finally good and buzzed. "The broad probably has some history, a paper trail, anything. Learn about who she is, find her weaknesses."

"How did you survive her attack Nico?" Peggy asked, since she could tell he was drunk. She took a sip from her drink and smiled at the warmth it gave her.

Maggie went to retort but her brain caught up with her mouth and she realized it was a good idea. Yes. We should. She let Peggy speak, asking the question she had been wondering the entire two months. He had never given a real explanation. Had he died and come back?

Nico frowned, his expression darkening. "Well there goes my good mood," he grumbled. "It's, ah, a long story."

<**and I'm probably going to bed soon so I won't have time to type it all out :p**>

(We can wait I guess :P )

Peggy frowned, "But if any of it can help us, please, Nico," she asked, looking at Maggie, "I don't want anyone else getting hurt again."

Thomas nodded in agreement, nor do I. If we do anything, we should do it together, Thomas said then turned his attention to nico, eager to hear how the vampire escaped death at the hands of the huntress.
