"I just wanna be wherever you are, safe and within arm's reach," Gio told him and came over, gently tying the cords on Cas' shirt into a makeshift bow.

"Then far away from your grandmother, that Natliya woman, and everything else we've faced is where we need to go," Casiel said, embracing Gio again as he kissed him fully.

(sorry guys, I was at a wedding :P)

Livy followed Gio to the tent and then just sat by Diana's side, holding her hand watching her carefully. Livy was so scared that Diana would stop breathing again. When Gio's friend entered the tent she looked up, "No, but we'll live," Livy said honestly.

Gio kissed him back and held him close, fingers caught up in his hair. He kissed him slowly but deeply, eyes firmly shut.

<**are Licvy and the others in the same tent as Cas and Gio? lmao awkwaaarrd**>

Cas broke away from their kiss, resting his head against Gio's chest, listening to his heartbeat. It was a comforting sound, obviously considering what they'd just went through to get it back.

(No they’re in Gio’s private tent.)

Gio held Casiel in his arms and played with the fabric along his spine, “You came just in time. I would never be able to forgive myself if Diana had died at my own hand. And..and Venus would have made me take Livy as my empress. She’s so young. I...I could never live with the idea of forcing myself on her,” he closed his eyes tightly, “You are my everything Casiel. I could not live this life without you.”

"Venus is a monster," Casiel said softly. He pulled away slightly so he could see Gio's face. "Before, when we were fighting, you didn't try to use your voice on me. Why?"

“Venus told me not to hesitate. To just kill you. Eros’ bow pierces the heart every time. I was to give you no chance to escape or manipulate me. You had to die,” Gio told him, “She did not count on the ring’s protection.”

"I'm thankful she did. I had a sort of... morbid plan in mind if you'd used your voice," Casiel admitted.

Gio raised an eyebrow, “Oh? And what were you going to do to me if I tried to command you with my voice?” Gio asked and smirked, “Cause I still could now,” he said playfully.

"I wasn't going to do anything to you," Cas murmured. He sighed. "But now I don't want to tell you and ruin the mood," he whined, but relented after a moment. "I planned to jam a couple of sticks in my ears to deafen myself. Figured if I couldn't hear you, you couldn't control me," he said with a shrug, looking away.

Gio quivered for a moment and slid his hand down Casiel’s arm, “Then...I’m thankful I didn’t use it on you.” He said and then kissed at Casiel’s neck, “What mood did you think you were ruining? You just got dressed. Why would we undo that so quickly?”

"Hhm, true," Casiel purred, a smile on his face, his eyes falling shut. "I meant the mood of us having a pleasant and loving reunion, nothing more. I'm not quite sure what you're getting at," he teased.

"Perhaps it's my lineage that causes my mind to find such...provocative thoughts floating about, but I prefer to think it's simply your presence, in a dark lonely tent. The two of us alone," Gio teased and nipped at his neck, but then pulled away, "But the flaps aren't quite secure. I wouldn't want any sudden visitors." He began for the exit.

Casiel groaned in annoyance, but followed after Gio. "Next place we stay, there had better be doors or I'm going to lose my mind."
