Henry nodded, fully understanding but he would have liked to see if she was capable of changing on her own. This mind-wiped faline was not really the girl he fell for. It was just part of her. “I understand,” Henry said, “it didn’t change anything though,” he said, thinking about his vision

"If Gio just left one day, you wouldn't keep whatever of his you could hold onto?" Faline asked him and bit her lip, "I mean...not like now. We're going to get back to him now."

"I mean, it's very clear you still care for her. And it's a good thing too because she clings to you," Gio said, thinking that the 'change' Henry was referring to was how he felt. Gio looked around the village and realized he couldn't read the Greek on the signs.

Casiel dug his fingernails into his palms. If Gio left... What would he do? What would he have left to fight for? He let out a deep breath, then started rummaging through the old wardrobe in the corner of the room. Most of the clothes were women's, old and moth-bitten, but he managed to find a man's shirt. "Guess this'll have to do," he said. Now all he needed was to wash the blood from his hands and chest.

"Glad I could help," Faline said softly and then stuffed out of the room and sat at the table in the living area, looking around at it all.

Casiel had found a basin, quickly sneaking out to fill it with water before retreating back into the safety of the old house. He went back up to the room to have as little privacy, removing his soiled tunic and beginning to wash the blood from his body.

Now that Cas was gone, it left Elisha and Faline alone together. Elisha watched the other girl carefully. “You didn’t seem so bothered by the killing today,” she noted. She was wondering if Faline was beginning to revert. “Why?”

Mateline stared at the signs, surprised to see that they made perfect sense to her. “This way,” she told them confidently.

Henry simply nodded, too lost in thought to reply; he followed mateline without even a question as he too could read the signs.

"You guys know the signs?" Gio asked and followed them, scratching his head, "Hmmm....."

Faline looked at Elisha and her brows came together, looking down, "I....I don't know. I guess that kind of thing just doesn't make me so panicked. It's good to be calm in the face of danger I suppose."

Henry looked over at gio, eye brow raised, “yes, can’t you?” He questioned, obviously not realizing that he was reading Greek without ever leaning it. The words just looked like engyto him

“No...they’re in Greek,” Giovanni told him. “Mother didn’t have time to reach me to read her language or Italian even. I didn’t learn English till I moved to England and was training as a squire.”

After cleaning himself up and changing, Casiel made his way back to where Elisha and Faline were, overhearing their conversation. He figured it was nothing to worry about, though- if her memories were to come back surely there would have been signs by now?

“Greek...no, they are in English,” he said in utter confusion as he realized how ridiculous it would be for the signs in Greece to be in English.

"Are you sure you're fine?" Elisha asked Cas as he came back out. She was wary of this new side of him that was coming out, possibly the old side of him. "Did... any of that bring back any memories for you?"
