"You don't seem that likeable upon first impression," Nico said honestly, stepping away from the bar. "Okay then, no enemies to terrify or kill, so what sort of debauchery do you suggest we get into?"

“Oh the debauchery was all a bit of a ruse,” she admitted to him, finishing the last of her drink. “I’m sure we can get up to some later but I have questions. That story you told st Tommy’s wedding, it’s bullshit. That woman is heartless. There’s more to it and I want to know.”

He was relieved that she did not press the issue, though perhaps when he'd calmed down from his altercation with his father, Thomas would be more open to considering it. Thomas pushed his hands through her hair as he kissed her back roughly

"Thomas," Peggy chuckled against his lips, "You're always so soft and kind, but the moment I start to undress you, you get so excited," she teased and pushed him down on the bed a bit, blushing as she did so, "Just relax for once."

Thomas chuckled as he lay back on the bed, eyeing her with anticipation, "I can't help myself," he admitted, as his cheeks turned a deep shade of red.

Nico scowled at her. The cheeky little brat. "What is there to know? I survived and that's all that matters in the end."

She came closer to him, like a lion stalking its prey. “You and I both know that’s not true. I’m not stupid, especially not when it comes to her. The others may have been fooled but let’s not forget she had me too.”

Peggy shook her head and slid her dress off before leaning down to kiss Thomas again, "Me either," she whispered.

Peggy laid her head in his chest and nuzzled his soft before kissing his chest, "Mmm, I mean, I have to keep things interesting for hundreds of years," she joked and looked at him through her eyelashes, "I want you to  know that you are just as incredible."

Nico looked away from her, his expression turning dark. "She didn't penetrate my heart, at least not all the way. I was barely conscious, but alive." Alive and in so much pain, but he didn't want to think about that. "Luckily she left me in a dark alley. Unlucky for the young woman who found me wanting to help."

She took his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze in a gesture to keep going. “You killed her?” She guessed.

Thomas snorted, "Well, you are certainly off to a good start,' he joked in return. He grew quiet, still amazed that anyone could love him so much. He leaned closer and gently kissed hers

Peggy just watched Thomas for those quiet moments, his soulful eyes, his sweated brow. She kissed him back with a smile and then slowly got out of the bed, finding a robe from her bag and pulling it on before fishing through the bag to find a small jar of blood. She went over to a table on the far side of the room and retrieved two glasses. She came back to the bed and sat down on the edge with Thomas, putting the glasses down on the side table and opening the jar, “Your mother’s soup was good but not satisfying in anyway”

Thomas had finally gotten his hunger under control, but it was still difficult for him to go long periods of time without feeding. He took the glass and sipped at the blood, which satisfied that pain of hunger. “It used to be one of favourite meals of hers,” he said
