(HE SHOULD!)

"Mags, he understands," Thomas said, "it's not fair of us to make it more difficult by making him feel guilty," Thomas reasoned.

Maggie sighed, clearly still upset about the whole thing. “Well is at least like to spend some time with him before he starts getting old and decrepit.”

Thomas rolled his eyes and ruffled up his sister's hair, "There's plenty of time before that happens," he said with a laugh.

(the question is, does Charles also get drafted to fight in the war and does he live through it? :P)

Maggie moves her head away from her brother, slightly embarrassed. “Yeah yeah, but he’ll get old faster than the rest of us.” She couldn’t stop glancing at Nico, nervous about what she would have to do tonight.

Thomas smiled and then finished off his drink before placing it back on the coffee table, " Mags, we're not going to get old at all," he reminded her. He looked at his sister with pity and shame; she would be trapped in the body of a 19 year old forever. Barely an adult. He wished he could change what happened to her; that she could enjoy a normal life like their brother

Peggy looked between the two siblings, she'd been sitting there, fingers playing with the hair on Thomas' neck. Her eyes reached Nico and she furrowed her brow a little at him. Despite her conversation being so loving with Maggie, she was frustrated with Nico. Before  they'd left for Europe, she'd warned him that he hurt this child or led her on, they would be have a very different conversation when they returned.
