Thomas rolled his eyes, "Maggie, calm down," Thomas said evenly, "We will still see Charles, it just won't be as often," Thomas assured her, "and that's not for years to come," he pointed out.

"Yes, I could still come around," Charles assured her.

Maggie was slightly pacified by that, though she was still upset at the implications. “You’d better be visiting often,” she told Charles.

THomas chuckled, "And when you're an old, wrinkly we will come see you," he teased. It was a sad thought watching his brother grow old; he already looked older than Thomas, which was unsettling.

"You're welcome," Peggy told her and left the girl alone to disappear to her bedroom for a moment, closing the door behind her and then laying back on her bed and sighed loudly. She didn't know if she could play pretend like this for years and years again like she was doing with Thomas' parents.

Maggie stood, still clearly put out by Charles’ decision not to tell Elizabeth. A part of her just wanted to take things into her own hands...

(Omg)

"Where are you going?" Charles asked when Maggie stood, lifting his eyebrows slightly.

Elizabeth opened the bathroom door when she was finished, but rather than head directly back downstairs she was quite curious and wanted to look around at what Peggy's parents had apparently collected. Did that mean they were dead if they'd given all this to her?

Peggy sat up as she heard the door to the bathroom open but then didn’t hear Elizabeth go down the stairs. She sat still and just listened.

Maggie rolled her eyes. “Away.” She wasn’t quite decided yet what she ought to do, but she knew staying here and bickering with her brothers wasn’t it.

(Omg yes)

"Well alright," Charles said, pouting a bit.

Elizabeth looked along the walls, glancing at all the doors. She couldn't very well go into any now, so she started heading down the stairs- slowly, of course.

Maggie matched out of the room with finality, a cloudy look on her face. She could hear Elizabeth coming down the stairs and glanced up, eyebrows raised at her.
