"Drink...? Oh," Ruth said softly. That weird drink. Blood. No, she didn't want to think of it like that. Blood was supposed to be gross. This stuff was good. "If I drink it, may I have some sweets after?"

<**aand let's just say Nico and Maggie decided to put their argument on hold? :p**>

[yeah I can imagine them just getting nowhere and pretending it’s not an issue]

Maggie has left their car to get fresh air and cool down. She could hear her family not far away, but wasn’t sure she wanted to see them either. She’d argued so much in the last few days. With a final sigh, she decided to try her luck and headed towards them.

Peggy raised an eyebrow at Ruth but then nodded, “Yes. I’ll buy you a sweet in the dining car,” she said and then went to her bag and pulled a wine bottle out that she’d filled with blood. “Here we go.” She said.

Ainslie looked at Charles and kissed him cheek before heading to the next door and knocking, “Maggie? Nico?”

Charles smiled warmly at her as he went to the other door as well.

With their disagreement put on hold while Maggie went to think things over, Nico was left alone to pace around their room. When he heard knocking he half expected it to be Maggie, but then he heard the voice. He opened the door, frowning at... what was her name again? "Yeah? What is it?"

Ruth took the bottle cautiously, like it was something dangerous. She took a careful sip, paused, then took a much larger drink, unable to help herself.

Thomas stayed at the door, waiting for Peggy and Ruth. He glanced at Charles uneasily, then past him to Maggie heading towards them. He sighed, knowing they had to have a hard conversation; he couldn't avoid it any longer. "Come on, lets us three get a head start. They'll all catch up," Thomas said

Peggy smiled and looked at Thomas, “I’m down for some— food,” she said and stepped towards him, putting her arms on his shoulders, “it’ll be fine,” she said quietly and then just took his hand and offered her other one to Ruth, “Let’s go”

Again with these intimidating men, “Oh. Charles and I were just wondering you two would like to come to dinner with us.” She shrugged, “I want to get to know everyone better and we figured dinner was a good place”

Maggie wrinkled her nose at that. Exactly what she’d been hoping to avoid. “Fine let’s get it over with then.

Thomas squeezed her hand gently, smiling for just a moment, "I hope you're right," he mumbled under his breath. It seemed family conversations never went over well with Junipers. He walked with his wife and Ruth to the dining car in silence, his mind to preoccupied running over what to say to Maggie and Charles

"Well that's a cheerful way to look at it, Mags," Charles said half-jokingly, half-annoyed.

Ainslie was somewhat giddy as she walked with Charles to the dining car, smiling brightly at him before kissing his cheek and then let go. She ran ahead to get them a nice big table on the dining car. She sat down on one end of the table next to a seat and swung her legs a little while she waited.

Peggy came to the table and sat across from Ainslie, giving her a smile.

“Yes, because talking about our feelings is going to be so much fun,” Maggie said in a deadpan voice. She took a seat, a disgruntled look on her face.
