Norah really didn't care if she was poorly equipped to assist in such things; this was Elijah they were talking about. "sooner the better," Norah agreed as she went to slip on shoes.

Jaimes looked between the two girls, his mouth curled down in a frown; the Bear was right. They had no business dealing with this. He knew for certain Elijah would be just as unhappy about Norah and Natalie risking their lives. However, he knew how stubborn Norah was and how much she cared for Elijah; there would be no convincing her otherwise, "Take Nova with you," he suggested

Sadie groaned and sat up fully. “I’m in too I guess. At least I’m qualified to sort of deal with this shit.” It was lucky her knee was starting to feel better. She could probably transfer to a brace next time she got the chance.

Jaime shook his head and looked down at his legs, "I'd just a liability," Jaime said, "and if someone sees you all with me, that could be bad," Jaime pointed out, "no, it's better if I stay here. At least Nova can offer you some extra muscle," he said.


Norah rolled her eyes at Natalie's comment, "Very funny," she said before turning back to Apollo, "Enough chit chat, let's get going," she said

Apollo looked at the wolf daemon, raising an eyebrow. He supposed some extra help was welcome. "Alright," he agreed. "You sure you'll be alright? It'll make you heal slower."

okay, good cause I don't feel like dealing with two characters at a time :P)

"I'll be fine, I don't want to put anyone at risk," Jaime said. Nova approached him and put her head in his lap, whimpering and looking up at him unhappily. He sighed and ran a hand over her head, "I'll be fine," he promised, "now go, keep them safe," he said. Nova reluctantly went back to Norah, who was getting more and more anxious the longer they stalled.

"Can we just go now?" Norah said, already standing by the door.

He looked back at Sadie and Natalie, but followed Norah to the car and unlocked it for them. He opened the door for Nova and Artemis, the latter looking somewhat uneasy at sharing the space with the other daemon.
"Play nice," he warned her before he went to the driver's side and got in.

Nova hopped up into the SUV, her tail swatting the other Daemon in the face as she jumped. "That goes for you too Nova," Norah commented, raising her eyebrow at the wolf as she curled up in the back. Norah shook her head and climbed into the front.
