Have you watched the Comic Con interview yet?
« on: July 27, 2010, 06:15:34 AM »

Then go watch it now!

I think Scott is trying to torture us. 3 times he and Keith start talking about scenes from Behemoth, ["oh yes! and then he pulls the sword and NOOO! Wait! Is that right before the really dramatic scene?"]  then realize they're on camera and stop. :P
The sound quality isn't very good, but I heard someone is going to be pulling a sword to prove a point. As far as I know, Alek and Volger are the only people who carry swords, right?
And Deryn is taller than Alek? Was that in Leviathan? I don't remember..
I cannot wait till October 5th!

The fourth books sounds like it'll be cool- I've always wondered how Scott has imagined the ship to be laid out, and some of these full color pictures [yes! color! no black and white!] should be of characters, so it'll be nice to see how they look.
And to be a little off topic.. I can't decide if Keith and Scott really like each other. Is that just me?

Gosh, I'm going to have to try to watch it if I can... Sounds really cool.

Anyway, I think most people have assumed that Deryn was taller than Alek because she looks taller in most of the pictures. But they confirmed this in the interview?

It's worth the 15 minutes!

Yeah, they did.

Yes, I guess she will... But I imagine Alek will have a growth spurt sometime, so she probably won't stay taller than him forever.

That's probably true. He's only 16, after all.

Boys grow late. My 2nd cousin hit a growth spurt at 26 which is almost physically impossible.

There was a man who grew from 3 foot 10 to 7 foot 2 between the ages of 21 and 32.

And does anyone else get the coincidence here???

That is really weird....

But, do you mean, that this guy was born in Austria, around the same time as Alek would have been?? XD

Though I kind of think that Alek was probably born in 1898, if he's about to turn 16. Deryn was probably born in 1899.

Maybe Alek will have a lesser version of that growth spurt and his clothes will be too small. He wouldn't be able to buy any new ones for a while.
