The end of World War 1
« on: November 15, 2018, 10:22:31 PM »

You know, it just occurred to me that I completely ignored remembrance day. I didn't have a moment of silence, I didn't mark it on my calendar, and I didn't even think about the significance of it. When I joined it was in time to mark the 100th anniversary of the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. It's surreal to me that just a few short days ago marked the 100th anniversary of the end of the war.
I think it's really fitting that I found this video today.

That's a good point, I heard about it on the news but I didn't give much thought to it beyond a normal Veteran's day.
