Do you use Uglies slang?
« on: January 05, 2010, 11:45:37 AM »

I use Uglies slang in my regular conversations, sometimes by accident... people think I'm really weird sometimes... but it's become part of my normal vocabulary. Sometimes I call my friends -la or -wa without even noticing! Anyway, does anyone else do that too?
(I don't know, there's something mysteriously icy about calling my math teacher a bubblehead... ) :D

Me and my friend john use slang from all the books we've read (including uglies) along with stuff we just make up.

Sometimes in my fb status I'll say something like "Homework is totally bogus" etc.

I talked about Uglies slang in my presentation for TOK class today though. 8D

i do alot my friends got really irritated at first but theni explained what the words mean and the finally understand. they dont talk as i do but now they dont look at me funny when i use something different. its the newcomers that get stared down if they comment. also i totaly agree i accidently called a teacher of mine a bubblehead (bad mark on a test) totally icy.
