well, japan backed England in WWI so they probably would be dar. Italy was allied with the Germans and Austria-Hungary but they stayed out of the war, so they would most likely be clanker.

  • They are void, we are NULL.

I hate to spoil it for you guys but I have two reasons to beleive Scott wont do WWII.

1. When I met him at a Barnes and Noble, he talked a bit about how there would be only three Leviathan novels and a bonus companion guide (when I think guide I think like a Spiderwick type feild guide, though it might be sort of like Bogus to Bubbly).

2. In one of Scotts blog posts he quoted somone else saying: "WWI was the end of steampunk" (It was longer than that but thats what he said in general".

Sorry if I spoiled your fun but I dont think he would write a WWII novel with steampunk, though I suppose Hitler could make a cameo in Goliath.

  • Mad as a hatter!

That totally makes since. It's hard to squeeze decades into one book. And WWI is definetly more steampunk than WWII.

  • Good. I'm always good.

But steampunks can make the machines from WII and WIII stronger. Think about it. More casualties, and more soldiers. Space battle on the moon, man!
