Leviathan bored me (don't hate me for saying that). I guess it's all the history intwined in the story and plot. I don't know. All I know is I couldn't get into it. :p As for Peeps, I don't think it was the most interesting book I've ever read. But it was still amazing.

I just started rereading Peeps, and I'm falling in love with it all over again XD

And yeah I agree with you all on Leviathan. I don't think it was Scott-la's best work. And there is way too much hype over that book. (I mean, seriously. That's why I try to stay away from the Levi section of the forum. It gets scary sometimes. DX)

I think the thing about Leviathan is that the world is extremely complicated, so there's a lot of room for fanfiction and stuff. I feel like you like it more after you finish reading it than while you're actually reading it.

It also helps that it's very artistic, which leads to a lot of fan work and a strong internet fan base brought together through that.

I did love the art. I do think that this also could be a great set up for a manga series. BUT it also hurts the potential manga because the manga wouldn't have the same artistic style(as in the great detail) since everything would be pictures.

I agree, on both parts. I love the art, but I also love the other adaptations of it.
