...I'm not a Harry Potter fan...I read the first two and a half books...when they were new...then I stopped...and I have seen the first 5 movies...and only because I saw the first two when I liked it and now it's more, a "sure, why not, the story is interesting" thing...but I'm not a fan in the sense that I'll go out of my way for it...

You've been missing out on a lot.. Please read the books, If not right now, put it at the top of your list.

The first 3 are mainly like an introduction to the series, so the prose is much simpler, but when you hit Goblet of Fire things get exciting.
Then when you reach the last words of Deathly Hallwos ("all was well") you're out of breath, streaming tears, laughing and begging for more!!

I'll put it on my "when I have time" list. I have over 10 books waiting to be read still, and I have quite a few books already on my "need to buy" list...

I am SO bummed out that I had to miss the world wide first annual forum for a Olympic volunteer shift, but yeah, Vancouver Canada would love to have Scott visit on his tour. I really hope for the movie they get some super animator like the one that did Avatar. That would be SO amazing!
