Sexual tension between Dess and Melissa.

Hm.... I mean, I suppose. But I'd like to think that Melissa knew she was for Rex. And Dess....was Dess. I always had a feeling she kind of had a thing for Jonathan. But yeah, I can see what you mean.

Filthy Victorian:
Oh, yes, I like Rex/Melissa, as well as Dess/Jonathan (more than Jess/Jonathan, actually). But Dess and Melissa definitely had something going on, especially in the second and third books.
