Scott recently asked on his twitter for ideas for a Leviathan playlist. Ideas anyone?

I'm not sure. Leviathan's harder than Uglies because (so far) it's more about adventure than emotion. There's definitely a lot of emotion in the book, but for me it seems like it's slipped in and hidden by all the action. Maybe songs with a lot of rhythm and beat.

I would highly recommend This is War by 30 Seconds to Mars or anything by Disturbed  ;D

Somehow I think "Addicted To Bad Ideas" by The World/Inferno Friendship Society fits quite well. That may be because I've been listening to them almost 24/7 for a while, though... (Thank goodness for sisters with great music suggestions? xD)

Getting carried away is a good thing, shows your enthusiasm... :D

Don't really know why, but I was listening to music by the Great Russian Composers when I read this. And also The Lion from Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens.

I don't know why but when I think of Alek and Deryn I think of the song 'Savior' By Rise against. >.>

I agree. Anything on This is War. Especially "Vox Populi" and "This is War" itself.
"Vox Populi" reminds me a bit of Deryn.

Did you ever believe?
Were you ever a dreamer?
Ever imagine heart open and free?
Did you ever deny?
Were you ever a traitor?
Ever in love with your bloodless disease?

Well! I'm extraordinarily late to this party, but:

"Alexander's Welcome" by Albannach http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIdQlhKcPdI

EXTRA IRONIC BONUS: It's on the soundtrack of a movie about WWI fighter pilots.

The video does not do these guys justice, BTW.  You totally, absolutely have to see them live.  They are awesome.

yeah totally, fighter pilots are so cool!! :)
also a good song I think would be "all these things that I've done" by the killers.

This is my favorite song and I think it's perfect! :)

Bien o Mal by Julieta Venegas reminds me of Leviathan for some inexplicable reason.
The Tale of Viktor Navorski from the soundtrack of The Terminal works well too.

For Alek/Deryn, I'd say Wings Of Love (feat Underground Divas) by Zagar
For Deryn, Learn To Fly by Foo Fighters
For Alek, (I'm not sure about this) Knights Of Cydonia by Muse

I will come up with more later on. Maybe edit them into this post.

Whenever I hear Battlefield from Jordin Sparks I always think of Leviathan even though it isn’t that romantic at the moment.

Well, right now I don't have any good military songs / instrumentals themes on my mind.
But you've got to admit that Halo: Reach's trailer song, ''Deliver Hope'', is awesome.

I almost started to cry when I listened to it solo. ;/

Kimi wo Nosete from Castle in the Sky http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyjRAZ2ER5E
Check Yes Juliet by We the Kings
Peace and Hate by the Submarines
Xavia by the Submarines

I don't know many songs, but I think these are good.
