« on: June 09, 2011, 08:38:23 AM »

Alright guys, I have a question for you. What was your favourite book until Leviathan came along? I'm sure all of you HAD a favourite book until you picked up Leviathan,  ;D. Or is Leviathan NOT your favourite book? ~I sure hope it IS your favourite book!~ I can tell you my favourite books were by Rick Riordan. I also liked the book Sundancer. NOW, HOW ABOUT YOU GUYS?!

Hey, you see that girl over there? Yeah, that girl, she's wearing a black bowler hat with camo capris, and she has short brown hair up to her chin.... and she's carrying a copy of Leviathan? Also extremely short? Yep, that's me.

Haha! Awesome. Unfortunately I don't have enough money to buy all the books I want (Books are so freaking expensive these days), so I spend my days at the library.

Luckyy! I'm going to tell everyone for my next b-day to do that. Oh, and I think my b-day theme is going to be Leviathan related. Like, dress up in Victorian style, or something like that. Or was it Edwardian style? I forget.

It's Victorian.
I don't have favorites, but I have dreams about what I will put on my bookshelf when I grow up and FINALLY gain independence.
These are:
Harry Potter (my absolute favorite of all time), The Bartimaues Trilogy (comes close), Inkheart Trilogy (Seriously good fantasy), The Warrior Heir Trilogy (Still continuing, though), Leviathan (DUH!!!), Midnighters (DUH!!!), The Book Thief (Beautiful beyond almost everything I have ever read. It will rock your world.) The Mortal Instruments (not AMAZING but certianly entertaining)...

Leviathan isn't my fave book. But it knocked down Eragon from it's #2 spot.

I'll have to agree with tridecagirl here....

Although Leviathan is the book that saved my brain...before I'd read it...I haven't read a novel like that for a few months.... :o

1914 is Edwardian. Well - just after Edwardian.  ;D

I love reading, and some of my favourite books are: Secrets of the Fearless, Pagan's Crusade, Highwayman's Footsteps and The Adventures of Sam Witchall. Secrets of the Fearless is a lot like Leviathan - but historically accurate rather than steampunk and set in 1807-1809
