This is how big a reader I am...

I don't have a favorite book.

...

I have a favorite bookshelf.Where I put ALL my favorite books.

I have a favorite shelf too! And HP is, of course, the first on that shelf. :D

Others I love are Mortal Instruments/ Infernal Devices, Midnighters, Seven Realms, Unwind, Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Guardians of Time, and lots more! ;)
Seven Realms is amazing, I loved Unwind so much it's insane, Hunger Games was my obsession for weeks, the Maze Runner is up there with the best, but my new craze is Artemis Fowl. I just discovered it this year, and fell in love with it. I also love Percy Jackson, Peter and the Starcatchers, Harry Potter (duh!), Airman (so AWESOME!), and a new one, the Kane Chronicles.

It was a tie between The City of Ember series and Uglies. ;D But then along came Scott's new book...

Leviathan and Behemoth are my favorite books now, but previously my favorite books were the Twilight saga and Mockingbird. Mockingbird is really great-you should check it out!

Leviathan has swiftly and harshly shoved it's way to the top of my favourite book list. I'm not exactly sure what was there before: Harry Potter? The Invention of Hugo Cabret? The Janna Mysteries? Hmmm...

I'm enjoying reading lots of new book suggestions from ya'll!!!  ;D Thanks!!
I really didn't like the Mortal Instruments series though - I hated Jace, was annoyed by Clary, and my favourite character, HUMAN Simon, didn't exist for long anyway  :-\
But I'm looking forward to reading the others listed here  :D

Hey, you see that girl over there? Yeah, that girl, she's wearing a black bowler hat with camo capris, and she has short brown hair up to her chin.... and she's carrying a copy of Leviathan? Also extremely short? Yep, that's me.

The MI is okay. :P I agree with you on Jace, and Clary had NO personality. But I LOVE Simon. Us Jews are sadly misrepresented in literature. Pluse he's just awesome. And it gets better as you go along...
It makes for an entertaining, if shallow read.

Oh, yeah. That's why you were upset. I read that last summer. Seemed kinda like she was trying to get too much emotion out of us.

I'm sure that a lot of people think it's a brilliant book series! I can see why some would love it so much.
I tried reading them once, but I couldn't get through the first novel XD. My sister loved them though; each to their own, I guess.

I've never tried them....and never will after hearing my friend's commentary while she read Breaking Dawn at our table.
