Leviathan has swiftly and harshly shoved it's way to the top of my favourite book list. I'm not exactly sure what was there before: Harry Potter? The Invention of Hugo Cabret? The Janna Mysteries? Hmmm...

I'm enjoying reading lots of new book suggestions from ya'll!!!  ;D Thanks!!
I really didn't like the Mortal Instruments series though - I hated Jace, was annoyed by Clary, and my favourite character, HUMAN Simon, didn't exist for long anyway  :-\
But I'm looking forward to reading the others listed here  :D

Ah. I love Jace. I WANTED TO PUNCH CLARY AND DUMP HER INTO THE RIVER. Simon was awesome. I hated how he got turned into a vamp. I liked it, but didn't love it. What bothered me was half the characters. And I'm one of the few people that hate Harry Potter.

I've had many favorite books over time, including Leviathan and Twilight (I was young, don't ask) and other things, but The Hobbit will always and forever be the best book I've ever read, therefore it is my true favorite.

Really? I adored reading and everything about it. My favourites switched a lot. First it was Harry Potter, then I discovered Percy Jackson and the olympians, then came the Red pyramid, and now Heroes of Olympus. One of my previous favourites was the Dragon in the Sock drawer, when I was in grade three. A long, long, time ago. Now, Leviathan has shoved it's way to the top. I plan on reading the rest of Scott Westerfeld's books when I turn a bit older.

Hey, you see that girl over there? Yeah, that girl, she's wearing a black bowler hat with camo capris, and she has short brown hair up to her chin.... and she's carrying a copy of Leviathan? Also extremely short? Yep, that's me.

Hope-la

Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl are great books too!
Oh, I forget to mention, Uprising by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It's so tragic, but I love it. It's really well-researched...

My favorite book is still (and may always be) The Crown of Dalemark by Diana Wynne Jones which no one has ever heard of (perhaps that's why I like it XD). But Leviathan is number two, shoving off several contenders vying for being for my second favorite book.

I don't know if I had a favorite book before Leviathan. Probably a tie between The Outsiders & a book called Just Jane before Leviathan knocked them both down.

That was me in first grade. Then I read the Magic Tree House, then a book called Fairy Realms (I was little, okay?), Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Artemis Fowl (still at the top of my list), and Leviathan. So many...

Has everyone? They are the books that got me into reading. I hated reading before that!

Heh heh, I've always loved reading. When I was three I'd sleep with a book instead of a teddy bear. ^^;

I've always loved reading too. When I was little, I wouldn't go to sleep until my parents had read me every book that I owned. I would stand in the corridor, and my parents were like "Not again..."
