Don't worry I felt the same way. I think it was more because grover actually was never described physically, riordan could have at least thrown out the concept "he's black" in one of the books. Oh and guess what I saw on IMDB, I don't totally trust it but it would be cool. It says Kaya Scodelario is playing Thalia Grace.

I actually wasn't going to start in on it, I'm still reeling at the prospect of Kaya as Thalia.

@Bea-la
It's Annabeth not Annabell but ya for some reason it really got to me how the characters looked nothing like how you expected them to from the books. Obviously I don't expect it to be perfect but still they could try I mean did you see Grover! (not that I'm racist or anything)
Sorry I fixed it.

@Seth
I'm pretty sure he described Grover at some point in the series as having red curly hair, though I can't check  cuz I don't own any of the books (not a big re-reader), and have you ever seen a black with red hair? I haven't and doubt I ever will u

I think he had curly brown hair. . . And I did think they were referencing the greeks in the egyptian book. Anyone up for a greek vs. egyptian showdown?  ;) ;)

I think it's mostly because he wrote those books first so everyone read them before and was already used to those characters. Plus they are just way better (in my opinion not trying to offend anyone)!!!!
