Why do people like to read more than reply?
« on: August 04, 2011, 07:03:12 AM »

Why do more people only read than actually posting a reply? 100 percent that more people will read this thread than post.

Or someone has already said what they were going to. Or they just aren't sure what to say...

maybe they don't have anything to contribute.  That happens to me sometimes.  And it could be a privacy thing.  Maybe some people just like to read other peoples' ideas but don't feel comfortable writing their own ideas.

Because I like lurking and I'm afraid I'll leave a conversation hanging if I actually participate.

I still need to join the Leviathaneers DA group which is pretty much the only reason I get on DA,
but I have no time to art or write for them and I'd feel bad being dead weight in the group...

Awwwe, I feel so welcomed into the world of people who actually post!

I've actually been lurking for a while now, but I've never really posted...
I felt it appropriate to respond to this topic :D
