Latin seems fun. I would have taken that this year if I wasn't going to take Chinese.

I wasn't even offered foreign language till this year (ninth grade). The choices are Latin, Spanish, French, German, and American Sign Language.

In my school you're required to take Spanish from 4th through 6th, then in 7th and 8th you have the option of French, and in High School you can take Latin, Chinese, and Italian too.

Yeah, lot of languages.
Your French teacher sounds nice. Most of the Spanish teachers I've had over the years haven't been that great. In fact, all of the languages teachers at the schools I've gone to were terrible except for one who was nice but didn't teach anything.
