Just read the manga then then only watch the aizen branch. The rest isn't that great in my opinion.

Don't hate the lines around your mouth, because you know they ARE smile lines, after all. Anyway, the way I see it, you can just never again smile and hope they don't get any deeper, or you can just keep smiling and then people won't notice those lines because they'll be looking at your pretty smile

I read it all up to the aizen saga. That's when I started watching the tv show cuz the fight scenes were just so awesome I had to watch them.
