Steampunk Clothes?
« on: September 19, 2011, 09:10:13 AM »

I need some steampunk-y clothing ideas. I want it to be everyday. You know, casual and not full on Victorian. I have a necklace that looks sort of steampunk and I was thinking maybe a vest would work. Ideas anyone?

I don't know if this should go here, but Leviathan is steampunk so..... Just tell me if you want me to move it.

That sounds like it'd work...I'm making jewelry right now. I'll take pics and put them on DA when I have the time (and my camera).

Barlow isn't really casual. Most of the outfits I've seen for her are all long dresses/ skirts.

You can also go with full, gathered skirts in and ruffled blouses, along with your steampunk jewelry, cool boots, vests and gloves.

We do have a topic about Leviathan clothing somewhere, though, if you had wanted to dig that one out.

I don't want to wear the full on Victorian look though. But thank you for the idea.

Barlow is very proper... her clothes are never casual, and quite conservative actually.

Huh? She dresses conservatively, that's all. It's nothing to do with politics.

Well, the most you can go with is a shorter skirt. XD Image searching on google for "steampunk" is a lot of fun for ideas, though.  ;D

And yes, I know about the argument. This forum is practially in a state of perpetual argument, and that one was actually less political than most.  ::)
