I was actually wondering about a ghost writer while reading the series.
The SON really does sound kind of weird come to think of it...
And they both (LH and SON) are mysteriously a lot longer than the original Percy Jackson series. They do follow three different characters, though, so I guess it would have to be longer.

Yeah, the Disney company generally buys a lot of things and most of the time ruins them. (Their old 90's movies are good though :)) )

I liked LH and SoN, so I'm not complaining. But I did feel something different about them, especially SoN, LH actually had a little more PJ feel to it I think. Maybe, the books just feel so different to us because we haven't been able to see them as a whole. LH was one side of the demigod spectrum(Greek) and SoN was the other side(Roman). Maybe in Mark of Athena when we get to see all the characters together and the camps together, it will feel more complete and like PJ. Or maybe it's the fact that Percy is older now and has lost his novelty to the world of myths and monsters.

huh? Lots pf book characters grow up( Harry Potter kids, Seer and the sword kids, and even HG a little) And those books really were as good as when they first started to finish.

Don't hate the lines around your mouth, because you know they ARE smile lines, after all. Anyway, the way I see it, you can just never again smile and hope they don't get any deeper, or you can just keep smiling and then people won't notice those lines because they'll be looking at your pretty smile

Well, to some people, but there are always the naysayers.

Ghostwriting seems like a terrible job, you don't get to take credit for what you wrote.
Hey, hasn't Scott ghost written before?

Well, if he did.... he most likely wouldn't tell us. But Scott is so involved with the process (here on his site) that it's impossible to think that he didn't write his books!
