Who thinks we should use a extra-like system for your forum rank instead of post count?

Well you know Extras? And the reputation system? Well depending on how many views a topic you created got your reputation would go up....

Yeah, people could start fighting and all trying to be number 1 just like people used to find rank by your post count. They would go to the member list and click on the post count part and it would order it from most posts to least.

We should have personalized rankings! We did this on another forum I was on. The moderators were the ones who changed them, and if a person didn't want the ranking, they could just go back to a more generalized ranking based on post count (like what we have now).

Just a suggestion.

That sounds cool!

There was this one forum where members report you for disrespectful behavior, spam etc. You can't complain about it to the mods because that doesn't do anything and then your reputation goes up or down based on that :)

Yeah, I mean it was all fun and all. But I hardly ever pay attention to people's actual rankings, so I don't really think strongly on this subject.

Hm. That could work. You would just have to have a view counter which would cause more load on the server that's already not doing too hot.
