So I'm reading Trials of Apollo, finally, and I realized that the weirdest thing made me cry. Not any intense event or plot twist, but.....

SPOILER
The fact that Percy's going to have a little sister. I dunno, out of this whole series, it never hit me before that I was growing up with these characters the whole time. Percy's studying for college. That's amazing. He's gotten older, he's survived so much, and just the little things like how he has a sister on the way, and how he and Annabeth are still going steady, and just,,,I dunno. I get so choked up over the fact that these characters have, both physically and emotionally, grown, just like I have. I got the privilege of growing up with them. I'm so happy that I found this series. Some jokes may be old, some arcs or characters might be lame, but the magic for me still hasn't died. I feel so many emotions, I'm just so happy that they're still here, I guess.

They actually do a pretty good job of summing up the first two where it's relevant, which was very helpful because I kept getting the events of the first two and Trials of Apollo mixed up

^^ Have you watched the film? If so, do you ever feel like Sherlock trying to not pick all the little details??

Ready Player One by Ernest Clint
Wonít lie picked up this book knowing there is a movie coming but honestly I feel immersed. Tho because not growing up in the 80s (because itís referencing a lot of 80s stuff) I donít think I appreciate a lot of the references. Nevertheless, Iím loving the pace of it. :)
