End of the World? Midnighter Apocalypse!!

I have never thought much about the end of the world happening in 2012, I still don't believe it will, but this is actually kind of an interesting thought... if you click on the link above and go down to the third paragraph, I noticed something... it says that the 2012 winter solstice (Dec. 21) will mark the end of the 144,000 day-cycle. (144,000/12,000=12) It's the end of the 13th cycle. "capping a full 5,200-year Mayan cycle of creation." (5,200/400=13)

I do not believe in the apocalypse of 2012, but, with the multiples of 12 and 13 (and just the year that has a 12 in it, that's not really playing a factor, but whatever) mixing together to form this "Astronomical hypothesis", I do think that this might be a big event for the Midnighters...
