Should I read this series?

I`ve read the Uglies series, the Leviathan series, and So Yesterday. (My favourite being the Leviathan series.)
I`ve heard that the Midnighters series isn`t Scott`s best work.
Should I still read it? Will it be just as good as these series above, or not? What`s your opinion?

I found So Yesterday to be his lesser work. Peeps was good too, but personally I don't think it was up to par with Midnighters. I read all three Midnighters in less than a week.
