Tasha panted and let her tail droop to the ground. If the alpha saw Kai, he would have killed her. There was no way that Tasha could let that happen. She lifted her muzzle up slightly and smelled the air. The alpha male was gone.

Tasha whimpered and got the image of a slaughtered Kai out of her mind. Yes. He's gone. I expect he's going to punish me for running away from him, though. She shook her head nervously.

Kai nodded. It'll be okay.. Just make up an excuse, Like you had to go to the bathroom or something. Though, she wasn't convinced things would be okay.
