« on: July 30, 2010, 02:44:24 PM »

My Dad randomly flipped the channel to a movie trailer show
and I saw a trailer for narnia!
thats the first one I've seen for it! The movie comes out December 10(just think, by that time HARRY POTTER WILL BE OUT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Well it looked pretty good, considering that book is kinda boring.....it looks good
except they put the witch in it....shes not suppose to be in that one

Ohhhhh Im SO excited!!!!!!!!

I liked the books when I was younger. Until I realized they were stuffed with blatantly religious imagery.

I like the Narnia Movies. They're not my favorite or anything, and I wouldn't watch them unless one of my siblings popped it in, but I thought the movies were nicely done.

But the books?
Can't stand them. The characters are dull and lifeless, and any drama isn't really exciting or shocking. I have tried to read the lion, the which and the wardrobe a few times, but find it impossible to get past the first few chapters.

The magicians nephew was okay. Can't say I'd ever read it again. :P

The magincians nephew was my favourite
and I do agree, they are hard books to get into
but once you get past the first little bit they are really good books.
It is something about books written that long ago, they are all kinda dull
but still really good.
I have say, the Horse and his boy is a bad book. It makes no sense with the series.
It would be a good story if it wasn't in a series.

I LOVED A HORSE AND HIS BOY but with that said it does not fit with the series in any way except that is in Narnia.

The only thing that really bothered me about Prince Caspian the movie is that they made Peter very cocky and stuck up. In the book he was noble, in the movie, not so much...
