Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother and a song called Get Back by a little known North Irish band called Kowalski remind of Midnighters. Get Back is for the creepy bits and Joker and the Thief is for when Dess kicks ass

yaaah... i was at their concert last saturday, and it was EPIC. like, one of the most epic things that have happened to the universe...

They're dreamy but there's real emotion slipped into the songs. I love listening to them while I'm reading, because it's not too loud and it doesn't take up much focus-space in my brain, but it hangs out in the back corner of my mind and mixes with the book... and adds something to the experience.

i love coldplay, snow patrol, and oasis, some of their songs are amazing and some of them make me cry  as do some of michael jackson's songs

i absolutely love brandi carlile! she is one of the best musicians ever, and she puts so much feeling into her songs!
