The Rusty Ruins

So, quick question to the random peoples out here; anyone else, after reading Bogus to Bubbly, think that the Rusty Ruins are the remains of Seattle? I mean, the picture they have in there has what's porbably the Space Needle, and its in the right place...
Just wondering if I'm on to something or I'm going the way of Zane here.

I think Scott mentioned at some point that it was Seattle. It would also make sense geographically. The other alternative is Salk Lake City, but I'm pretty sure it was Seattle.

It can't be Salt Lake City. It's too far south. There's a week-plus trip between Tally's City and Deigo (aka San Diego, AKA California). Also, they cross Death Valley on the way. Salt Lake City is near Death Valley.
So, I'm going with Seattle. Wonder why he chose it...

Maybe because of how it's an urban city in a fairly rural state? Also it's on the pacific coast, so the connection to Tokyo later makes sense.

It depends how fast hoverboarding is. Although someone told me Diego is in Mexico, even though it sounds like it should be San Diego. I'm not sure if that's canon or not though, probably not :P

That's true. Don't I know it. And maybe he actually did some reasearch and found we'd be likely to survive the Oil Bug.
PRetty sure Diego is San Deigo. If nothing else, the culture is right.
